Those who follow me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram know that I traveled to Georgetown, CO on Monday for a little get-away with the family. Originally we took the trip because quiet frankly we were afraid it was going to catch on fire. However, the cooler temperatures of 87* F was welcomed among all of us (even the Brits!). Who knew dropping temperature by 15* would make all the difference. Never in my life have I been so excited for mid-80 degrees!
If you’ve thinking of visiting Colorado or live in Colorado and want a little get-away, visit Georgetown. A town that’s about an hour west of Denver, just off of I-70. Its what you would call a TRUE small town.
The lady-in-laws, Mr. P and I stopped by the park, but quickly visited downtown Georgetown to do some shopping. There downtown is on one street, however don’t be fooled – there’s a lot to see. Here’s a look into my trip.
