Funday Monday – Strawberry Patch

TA DA!!!

I finally got to plant in my strawberry patch!! Aren’t they cute?? All 75 of them.

SEVENTY-FIVE OF THEM!! 75

75

Yup, 75.

Yes, we’re obsessed. OBSESSED with strawberries and we hate paying $2.50 for a pound – and that’s the sale price!! Jams, pies, popsicles, and juice – here we come!!

Onward to the grape/blackberry/raspberry row. Not sure what to call this. Strawberry patch has such a nice ring. This section does not. I can’t call it the berry patch or the berry row because GRAPES are involved. Thoughts? Ideas? Its located on the west side. LOL – *sings* the WEST SIDE ROW. No. No. Not going to work.

*thinks about it* Well…maybe…

Anyway, sorry for being MIA lately. I have been super, super, super-de-busy getting ready for my lady-in-laws coming into town. Less than 24 hours to go!! Yippee!! So, the posts might become even more scarce, but I thank you in advance for understanding. After all, they’re coming all the way from England and I haven’t seen them in 5 years (since the wedding!)!! Yikes!!

I came across this video thanks to www.LaurenConrad.com website (don’t judge!). I love that site (stop judging!). If you’re not a member, I highly recommend it. 🙂 If not for the food posts, the fashion posts (sorry guys), and the Friday Favorites, but because of videos like these.

Seriously…

BAHAHAHAHAAHA! Did you laugh as much as I did? I sure hope so. Here’s to a great week.

Much Love,

  1. Hi Peachy,
That video is so…… funny. I had to play it again.
The only name I could come up with is the wine patch, because you can make wine from all three.
Bit foggy today so not very inspirational.
I have strawberries too in my garden in England. They are just as expensive here.
    Enjoy your visitors from England.

    • Hi Lorna,

Thanks for stopping by. I love your idea on calling it a ‘wine patch’ considering I love wine!! I hope your less foggy soon and that your strawberries are developing nicely. Its super dry here but I hear it wont stop raining there. Can we share? I’ll send over some sun if you give me some rain. 😉

      Take care!
      xoxo Peachy
