The festivities just never stop! My calendar is cram-packed full of activities! I hope your calendar is too. 🙂
One thing I enjoy this time of year is going to the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run/Walk. Now, about 10 days ago I shared my costume ideas. Well, my costume idea changed a bit. The forecast called for snow with below freezing temperatures. There was no way I was going to walk a 5k without my ears and head covered! So, I did the next best thing. I took Mizar’s costume idea and turned it into mine!
I also decided not to bring Mizar with me. Actually he glared at me with the look that could kill. A look that said “Lady, you’ve got to be kidding me!” So, while Mizar, Mr. P and the rest of the gang were inside all warm and cozy, I was
losing feeling in my toes getting into the holiday spirit.
Last year I ran it, stupidly. This year, I promised I would walk it and I did. I walked a 5k in the FRIGID, FREEZING temperatures with my fellow Denver Arthritis Walk Committee Members. It was so cold!! But so much fun. 🙂
Anyway, since I walked on ice at the Jingle Bell Run/Walk, I thought this video was appropriate. HA HA!
What traditions do you have in your family this time of year?
