I had an amazing weekend. On Friday night, my dear friend Jenn came over to celebrate our one year friendship anniversary. We played games and had homemade cream of mushroom soup. It was delightful. I will never forget what she said to me one year ago at my cousin’s house (whom I was rooming with and 4 other guys): “you’re going to need a girlfriend with all these boys & I’m it.” I’m forever grateful that Jenn made my first year in Boston so lovely, opening up her arms & friendship to me, & always willing to give me a hug. Happy 1 year friendship-i-versary!!
Saturday was a pretty casual, normal day in the Peachy household. We tackled the office, cleaned, and planned. It was snowing and we had no desire to go out. It was nice to just stay home.
On Sunday, was the Bronco game against the Patriots. Another dear friend of mine, originally from Colorado, came over and we watched the game as Mr. P cooked in the kitchen. A complete 180 of the norm, but I’m grateful. He made 3 wonderful Indian curry meals and I’ve had the pleasure of the leftovers. It was great to catch up with my fellow Coloradan friend while watching the game.
Now, if you haven’t guessed it, I’m having a fantastic Monday because the BRONCOS WON!! I’m so excited for the Super Bowl. 🙂 But, let’s move on, shall we?
It’s not a video, but it was too good not to share. As the site originally said, “If you’re going to play with your food, at least take a picture of it!” Adorable photo series of mini people standing on food. I can’t seem to decide which one is my favorite, the guy skateboarding inside of an avocado, construction workers saving the grapes, or cyclists riding up a carton of eggs. Definitely fun and perfect for this awesome day.
