While I’m currently away, I asked for some guest bloggers to post on my behalf. Today’s post comes from Lauren, a blogger who writes Stay at Home Wifey. She’s 24, a newlywed, has a great support system from her amazing family and great friends, and has a passion for simple cooking and organizing. Perfect since I’ve been lacking the cooking and organizing recipes on this blog for sometime. Please give her a warm Peachy welcome!
Hi there! My name is Lauren and I write a blog called Stay at Home Wifey. You can visit my blog at: http://stayathomewifey-lg.blogspot.ca
I wanted to share a tasty recipe with you that will change the way you view the traditional pancake.
What you will need:
- 4 cups flour
- 1-2 tablespoons cinnamon (depending on taste preference)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups milk
- 4 eggs
- ½ stick of melted butter
- 4 tablespoons sugar
Directions: Add flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and sugar.
Mix ingredients and pour in milk, vanilla extract, melted butter, and mix in eggs. Stir until smooth. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan, and smooth out the top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve warm with maple syrup. Yum!
This recipe is such a great breakfast recipe and it tastes amazing!!
I love this recipe because its perfect for freezing! Just pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds and they’re good to go! Enjoy!! 🙂
Thanks Lauren for posting your great baked pancake square recipe! I made a batch before we left so we had something to eat when Mr. P and I returned home. So if I can make it, you can too!
Be sure to check out Lauren’s blog and her other recipes. Did you see her amazing house and her decor? Just Fabulous.
